Who We Are

Data We Collect

We collect only the data you provide directly:

  • Account data: email address and first name.
  • Health profile (self-reported): primary wellness goal, lifestyle habits, body measurements, chronotype, and daily logs (caffeine intake, alcohol, exercise, sleep duration, mood).
  • Coach chat: messages you send to the AI coach Marcus and the responses generated on your behalf.

We do not collect passive biometric data unless you explicitly grant HealthKit or Google Fit permission on your device.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve Apex Coach:

  • Personalizing your daily recommendations and coach responses.
  • Storing your logs so Marcus can track your progress over time.
  • Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).

Storage and Sub-Processors

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL, us-east-1, United States). Chat messages are processed by the Anthropic Claude API solely to generate your coach responses. No other third-party processors have access to your health profile or chat history.

No Data Sales or Advertising

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. There is no third-party advertising SDK in this application. Your health and wellness data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights (GDPR and CCPA)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time:

  • Delete your account directly from the app settings.
  • Or email hello@apexzenlabs.com. We fulfill requests within 30 days.

California residents: We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

EU/EEA residents: The legal basis for processing is your consent and the performance of the service contract. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Data Retention

Account and health data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Children

Apex Coach is not directed at users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and the effective date above will be updated.
